The city of Lakeway, just east of Austin, is taking drastic steps to cut down its deer population.
Too many deer in the small city are causing problems for some drivers and home owners in Lakeway.
Traps, set up by the city's animal control across town, will be used to kill as many as 300 deer through the month of November.
All the meat will go to area homeless organizations.
ok. so, kill deer because they're annoying you on a golf course, or having the indecency to run into your car, and then feed the homeless. what do you do if there's no deer?
