that's really post-sunday, isn't it. ah well. the day is bringing me lists upon lists of things to do, and i, having gotten up at 4am to do yoga at 5am, am all ready to do all my things on all my lists except for a) i don't have a car anymore and b) if i did have a car, no one is open yet.
i have an interview for a job that might actually suit me. i won't say much about it here but it would be working with university students on time management and things of that sort, at which i'm actually pretty good. (that whole project managing thing teaches you fast. ok, so does double majoring and double minoring, but that seems like a century ago.) in any event, if any of you stumble across this, cross yer fingers for me, i go to a big meeting wednesday and i never know what the fuck to wear. i do know i really ought to cover up some of those tattoos.
so, yes, i'm a-hunting for a job, while the otherh gets jobs kind of flung in that general direction. the chicago thing just wasn't working out, i think i mentioned that elsewhere. but i did get a t-shirt.
clandestinely (a blog post full of secrets), my family is really having a go at starting a company. which is great and all, but companies need money. in fact, we need money so we still have electricity. so, we're hoping that someone gets something in the money making field so we can go to work for ourselves. it's a really fucked up situation.
so, the world cup ended, and zidane went out with a bang if there ever was one. the commentary sucked, the ref'ing mostly sucked and if i never hear marcelo balboa explain offsides again, it will be too soon. france won that game yesterday, penalty kicks be damned. and that's what i have to say about that.
summer is too hot by at least 20 degrees. it has destroyed any sense of good mood i could muster, so i blame carbon consumption. who the fuck knows. now that there's no soccer to watch (at least til the EPL starts next month), i may find myself actually caring about the other things in the world, and no barry bonds, i don't mean you.
